Life-Long Spiritual Growth

Even as a mature believer, the Apostle Paul talked about his desire to know Christ more deeply. God never wants us to stop growing spiritually; yet, if we are honest, many of us can admit that we get stuck, or that our spiritual life feels stagnant. This breakout will help us understand the different stages of life, and the things we can do to deepen and develop our relationship with God at each stage.

Do We Have Communion All Wrong?

In recent years, respected evangelicals like Francis Chan and Hank Hanegraaff have abandoned the symbolic view of communion for a real presence view. What did the early church believe? Are we missing something in our practice today? In this breakout, we will look at what the early church taught, what the Bible says, and how the church today can give robust expression to this essential practice.

While the church is rightly concerned about the sexual confusion in our culture, we too often ignore the sexual sin happening in our own fellowship: couples living together, rampant use of pornography, sexual abuse, a disregard for purity. This breakout will look at how we speak about and confront sexual sin, while at the same time providing redemptive avenues to people

Cultivating a Generosity Culture with all Generations

Scripture calls God’s people to be generous, yet we all know that too many people struggle to live with an open hand. How can a church move from a scarcity to an abundance mentality in all areas of life. This breakout will give creative and practical approaches to stewardship that can cultivate a generosity culture, no matter the age demographic of your church.

Many leaders in the church are suffering from weariness. They are exhausted! Often this is because their souls are running on empty. This breakout will look at the critical importance of soul care, and things a leader can do, and stop doing, to tend to the well-being of their soul and ministry.

Leading Through Conflict

Every ministry is made up of people, and people are messy.  With diverse ways of thinking, differing opinions, and divergent communication approaches, ministry then… can often be very messy too.  This breakout focuses on communication methods and tactics that can be used through the processes of negotiation and conflict resolution. We will be homing in on critical skills necessary for success that every leader needs to learn… how to Lead Through Conflict.

While we believe they are created in God’s image many churches are insensitive to the challenges faced by those with special needs. This breakout will explore the range of responses a church might have from increased sensitivity to developed ministries.
