Mission Lead & CEO

CEO Willie Nolte

Dr. William “Willie” C. Nolte has served Transformation Ministries as the CEO/Mission Lead since 2011. He comes to this position with a rich background of training and pastoral experience, first in the mid-west and then in Northern California. Willie received his BA from Judson College, Elgin, IL; an MA in Old Testament Biblical Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL; a Master of Divinity from the American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley, CA; and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership from Western Seminary in Portland, OR. With over thirty-five years of ministry experience, Dr. Nolte has been a mentor pastor and pastor cluster facilitator and has been highly involved as a community leader in a variety of outreach ministries. Willie has been married to Joy for thirty-eight years. They have four adult children, five grandchildren.

“I accepted the invitation to join Transformation Ministries for a very simple reason – our MISSION! That mission can be clearly stated as the goal to see that there are “More Healthy Churches” because we know that means “More Changed Lives”. While I never saw myself leading an organization like TM per se, my passion has been and remains the local church and the pastors who lead them.”
Willie Nolte

Doug Meye

Developing Pastors Lead

Rev. Dr. Doug Meye serves part-time as the Developing Pastors Lead. He attended Wheaton College and earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies. Later Doug enrolled as a student at Fuller Seminary where he met his wife, Pat, and together they graduated in 1980. His first full-time ministry position was at First Baptist, Chino, CA, where he served as an associate pastor focusing most of his time on student ministries. In 1986, Doug and Pat planted Warm Springs Baptist Church as co-pastors. After three years of ministry together, Doug became the Lead Pastor, and served in this capacity for twenty years. Although he was in the same church for twenty years, he will tell you that he had the experience of pastoring a number of different churches: a church plant, a single-cell church, a multi-staff church, and a plateaued church. He will also tell you he has learned more from his mistakes than success. After leaving Warm Springs, Doug served as the interim Pastor at First Baptist Church of Ventura and pursued his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Seminary. His project is entitled, “Increasing Ministry Excellence Through Participation in Pastor Mentor Groups.” After his interim ministry at Ventura, Doug joined the staff of Transformation Ministries. In 2012, Doug planted Grace Church in Henderson, NV, and the church is steadily growing. He would love to write a book, but for now contents himself with an occasional blog. Doug and Pat continue to reside in Henderson, NV. They have two grown children.
